Good health is the foundation of a happy and fulfilling life. It enables individuals to pursue their dreams, contribute to society, and achieve their full potential. In alignment with this belief, the Gomti Nagar Branch observed World Health Day on April 7, embracing this year’s theme, ‘Healthy Beginnings, Hopeful Futures’.
The day began with a special assembly highlighting the importance of a healthy lifestyle by sharing health tips. Throughout the week, students took part in fitness exercises, aerobics, chair yoga and creative activities like healthy plate drawing, making comic strip, collage making, hygiene video sessions, quiz and creative writing encouraging health awareness in fun and engaging ways.
At the Kanpur Road Branch, after the assembly, various classroom activities were conducted to engage students creatively and informatively. One of the major highlights was a poster- making activity, where students from different grades expressed their understanding of universal health through vibrant artwork and powerful messages. From younger children drawing happy, healthy families, to older students illustrating access to healthcare, nutrition, and fitness for all, the posters beautifully reflected the day’s spirit.
Teachers guided discussions around topics such as personal hygiene, mental well-being, healthy eating habits, and the need for equal healthcare access globally. The initiative helped students understand that health is not just an individual goal but a universal right.
