A day dedicated for igniting passion of reading among students and promoting literacy. The day started with a morning assembly wherein different genres of books and its uniqueness was introduced. A flurry of activities was conducted in the school library – Biographical presentations, Book talk, Vocabulary games and many more. Students gathered for a “Reading Hour” where everyone settled into cozy corners with their favourite books, creating a serene atmosphere filled with the rustling of pages. This shared experience reinforced the idea that reading can be both a personal journey and a communal activity.

The celebration of World Reading Day was not only an event but a movement towards fostering lifelong readers. Through these enriching experiences, we hope to motivate our students to search for joy and adventure within the pages of a book. We look forward to continue this tradition in years to come, building a community that values and cherishes the written word.
